Wall Mural for Glastonbury Festival 2023 - GreenpeaceAs Greenpeace’s artist in residence for Glastonbury Festival 2023, I created a 6ft wall mural that focuses on the idea of a greener and fairer planet. A banner illustration with three smaller illustrations framed by large sunflowers, leaves and stars. Across the banner is the slogan 'working for a greener and fairer planet'. In the bottom right hand corner there is my signature 'by Ananya Rao-Middleton' and Greenpeace's logo. The three smaller illustrations include several people between sunflowers, leaves and stars. The slogans in these illustrations read 'Not all disabilities are visible', 'Don't judge a disability by its visibility' and 'My disability is invisible, not imaginary'. A closer view at the mural at Glastonbury by the main stage. It is on a large wall beneath a large screen showing the performer who is singing on stage. In front of the mural, a person dances with her arms in the air. A photograph of the mural in front of the main stage, beneath a large screen of a person performing on the stage. Several festival goers are walking past the mural.
